CONCURSO DE DISEÑO INDUSTRIAL DEL MUEBLE
24º Concurso de Diseño Industrial del Mueble
Las actividades realizadas durante el 2020 para esta edición fueron las correspondientes a: recepción de prototipos finalistas; reunión del jurado para selección de premiados; acto de entrega de premios.
En esta edición, al tratarse de la edición número 25, se ha introducido la novedad de que pueden presentarse trabajos que no sean inéditos (basta con que no se estén comercializando) y el concurso ha pasado a denominarse “CETEM DESIGN AWARD”.

El día 5 de marzo se realizó un acto donde se hizo público el fallo final del jurado y se entregaron los correspondientes premios. Además, previamente a la entrega de premios, se contó con el diseñador Mario Ruiz quién ofreció una conferencia magistral acerca de las nuevas tendencias en diseño de mobiliario.

25º Concurso de Diseño Industrial del Mueble
Durante el 2020 se realizaron las primeras actividades de esta nueva edición del Concurso de Diseño: diseño y edición de bases y cartel; difusión a colegios profesionales, empresas, diseñadores, etc. Así mismo, el jurado se reunió para la selección de los proyectos finalistas. Se creó la web cetemdesignaward.com donde aparece toda la información relativa a esta nueva edición del concurso.

Fostering Design with the
COMPETITION OF FURNITURE INDUSTRIAL DESIGN
24th Competition of Furniture Industrial Design
During 2020, the following activities were carried out as part of this edition: reception of finalist prototypes; meeting of the jury for the selection of winners; awards ceremony.
5th March, 2020, the final decision of the jury was made public in a ceremony in which the prizes were awarded to the winners. Before the awards ceremony, Mario Ruiz, the designer, delivered a keynote speech on the new trends of furniture design.
25th Competition of Furniture Industrial Design
The first activities of this new edition were held during 2020: design and edition of competition, rules and the poster; dissemination to professional bodies, companies, designers, etc. Likewise, the jury met to select the finalist projects. The website, cetemdesignaward.com, was created to gather the information of this new edition of the competition.
This edition has introduced a new feature, since we have reached the 25th edition: now participants may submit also published works (as long as they are not being commercialised) and the competition has changed its name to “CETEM DESIGN AWARD”.
